Successful Girls' High Play

Top marks to the Gisborne Girls' High School Drama Club for their production of Oliver Goldsmith's bright comedy "She Stoops to Conquer", which played in the Assembly Hall to good audiences last month.

The cast of youthful actresses played their parts convincingly, especially those in the difficult roles of men.

The production was a departure from the Club's custom of presenting William Shakespeare plays, and was considered a great success by all concerned.
