Waerenga-o-kuri Sports

The 55th annual Waerenga-o-kuri sports meeting was well attended when it was staged at the "Laurels", a picturesque property atop the Whareratas on the Tiniroto Road.

The oldest meeting in the bay, the sports consisted mainly of show jumping events, with pony and novelty contests adding additional interest to the programme.
