Peter Veen, son of Mr and Mrs V. W. Veen, Muir Street, has been awarded a N.Z. Dairy Company Scholarship for a degree in food technology at Massey University.

The P.B. roller hockey team which was runner-up in the N.Z. championships at Rotorua recently. The first time it had competed in the N.Z.R.H. Association's championships, the team was defeated by Auckland in the final game. The team's full-back, John Roberts, was selected to represent N.Z. in the World Congress Championships in Callfornia in October. A member of the Endeavour Guide Company, Miss Christine Schollum, daughter of Mr and Mrs A. R. Schollum, 25 Stanley Road, has been awarded a trip to Switzerland for three weeks in July. Selected from hundreds of Guides throughout the country, Miss Schollum is one of two New Zealanders who will attend the Juliet Low international session at Our Chalet, in Adelboden.
