Swimming Pool Opened

The Gisborne Health Camp's new swimming pool was officially opened by the Mayor, Mr H. H. Barker, at a ceremony prior to Christmas.

A wonderful asset for the camp, it will be used to teach the children water confidence as well as for recreational purposes.

Following the opening ceremony, swimming classes were conducted by the H.B. Education Board's primary school P.T. instructor, Mr M. D. Berry.
