Rowing Success

In the annual L.V.A. Shield rowing championships at Wairoa, the Gisborne Rowing Club proved superior to their opponents, Wairoa and Hawkes Bay, by winning two of the four shields competed for.

The two events in which Gisborne rowers were victorious were the singles and doubles races.
