Successful Garden Party

The Edward Murphy Maternity Hospital ran a highly successful garden party in its grounds in Aberdeen Road on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon last month.

Attended by a large crowd, the event raised £165 for the hospital, the money being used to purchase a deep freeze.

A display of gymnastics by members of the Y.M.C.A., an ever-popular baby contest, music by the Salvation Army Band, and a host of stalls, provided patrons with plenty of activity.
