Youth Forum
More than 400 teenagers attended a youth forum staged by the Catholic Youth Movement in the War Memorial Hall on a recent Sunday evening.
After a lecture by the guest speaker, Mr M. Dean, of Auckland, a panel of local identities, and two visitors, answered questions submitted by those in attendance.
The subjects covered by the forum, mainly relating to teenage dating, petting, and drinking, were answered with open-minded advice and suggestions by the members of the panel.
