Mr H. A. Crafts, 109 Fox Street, who has been manager of the Post Office Savings Bank for the past two years, has been transferred on promotion to an executive position with the Auckland Savings Bank. Mr Crafts is pictured setting up his bank's annual Savings Week display, which this year featured an emphasis on investment in building.

Mr A. J. Bartlett, secretary of the Gisborne-Wairoa-East Coast branch of the Crippled Children Society, has been elected to the Dominion Council of the N.Z.C.C.S. Mr Bartlett's position is the first representation of the branch on the council.

Five of the Poverty Bay Bowling Club's six life members were in attendance at the club's opening day last month. Four of them are, from left: Messrs E. Wailen, S. McKenzie, E. Somerville, and W. McGibbon. Not pictured is Mr E. Ross. The sixth life member, Mr R. Maddock, now of Auckland, was unable to attend.
