Roving Camera


A six-ton Peal Frame gang saw, which has been in use sawing timber into planks for the Box Company for many years, being lifted out of the mill by two of Monk Bros' mobile cranes. The saw was later transported to Opotiki. Only the actual milling equipment is left on the premises which are being cleared for Robert Holt and Sons. A new mill in Awapuni Road is now in operation, to take the place of the former Box Company.


An enthusiastic television viewer at Tolaga Bay sports this miniature receiving parabola on his roof to enable him to set a good signal from Trig H.


A sight unseen in Ruatoria before.....the main street jammed with traffic and pedestrians on the big day up the Coast last month when the Wallabies played East Coast.
