A six-ton Peal Frame gang saw, which has been in use sawing timber into planks for the Box Company for many years, being lifted out of the mill by two of Monk Bros' mobile cranes. The saw was later transported to Opotiki. Only the actual milling equipment is left on the premises which are being cleared for Robert Holt and Sons. A new mill in Awapuni Road is now in operation, to take the place of the former Box Company.
