Laying out a football field the proper way is not just a matter of hammering in a few pegs here and there. On a recent Saturday morning, "Photo News" found (left to right) Graham Jeune, Ken Floyd, Barry Preston and A. M. Bain at work on the new football, field at the Park, using surveying equipment to ensure the highest degree of accuracy.

The duck shooting season opened on the first Saturday in May. The weather wasn't particularly suitable, and poor bags were the rule rather than the exception. But Colin Taylor, "Bunny" Bell and Bill Bradley, seen here, bagged the limit in quick order.
