Harrier Club Flourishing
Membership of the Y.M.C.A. Harrier Club reached 50, the highest figure in the history of the club, on the Saturday these photographs were taken by "Photo News". Thirty-five members who took part in the running that day are shown above.

Two packs, fast and medium, took runs of five and seven miles. The photograph at left shows some of the fast pack on the Kaiti Beach section of their run.
