"Lift Slab" Building

The new Government Life Insurance building, on the corner of Gladstone Road and Grey Street, makes a striking picture with its four concrete floors appearing virtually unsupported after the completion of "Operation Lift Slab". The picture was taken from Adair Bros department store.
