High Standard At Chrysanthemum Show

The Poverty Bay Horticultural Society's annual Chrysanthemum Show, held in the Army Hall on a recent Friday, drew a large number of entries of a very high standard.

Outstanding competitor was Mrs B. H. Constable, whose excellent blooms won her several major awards, including the champion of champions.

A non-competitive display of contemporary arrangements by Mrs P. Doal and Mrs L. Eade attracted a lot of interest from the many patrons.
