New Chapel

The impressive new Mormon chapel at Manutuke, which was built by the Manutuke branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is nearing completion.

To be opened on 11th June by Mr Lester Hawthorne, of U.S.A., who is the supervisor of all the New Zealand chapels, the building will cater for a roll of 250, with worshipping, administration, and schooling facilities.

The present roil of the branch is 160, and its boundaries extend from Muriwai to Matawai.

The chapel has been built in ten months, and is the 37th to be opened in N.Z.
