"Miss Industries Fair" Entrants

Sixteen girls have entered the "Miss Industries Fair" contest which will be a feature of the second fair organised by the Gisborne Jaycees to be held in June in the woolstore of Daigety and New Zealand Loan, Awapuni Road.

The girls will appear on stage at the three final nights of the fair, where they will be judged on personality, deportment and grooming, by a panel of three judges.

The entrants are sponsored by business firms in the city, who have donated prizes. All contestants will receive a prize, the winner taking £50.
