Indian Bazaar

The Mangapapa Guide Company and the Mangapapa and Tui Brownie packs held a jumble sale with a difference in the Guide and Scout hall in Bryce Street recently.

The many stalls were manned by members of the organisations colourfully dressed in the national costumes of India.

The district commissioner of Guides, Miss W. O'Halloran, officially opened the bazaar which was a great success, swelling the funds of the company by £50.
