Parking Meters In And Out

Gisborne's side streets in the Dusiness area have been adorned with more parking meters. Some of them in Bright Street are pictured above. Soon after their installation, workmen set to in Gladstone Road removing 18 existing meters from the approaches to the Peel Street intersection, where parking has been abolished to provide a wider road for the three lanes required when the new traffic lights come into operation.
