Wool Board Fashions

The great versatility and style of woollen garments was illustrated to Gisborne audiences recently when the Wool Board fashion parade was staged at Ulverstone.

Compered by Mrs Pat Stewart, the parade exhibited a wide variety of garments, ranging from casual slacks and jumpers to high-fashion formal wear.

Way out fashions in leather and tweed, with the latest leather high boots, made their debut to Gisborne womenfolk.

A novelty of the parade was the appearance of three coloured sheep.
