Plunket Fashion Parade

A parade of autumn fashions, sponsored by the combined Gisborne Plunket Societies, and presented by Adair Bros. Ltd, was staged before a capacity house in the War Memorial Hall recently.

Two Auckland models, Margaret Whitehead (formerly of Gisborne) and Jocelyn Davis, along with three local women and five children, modelled the garments with professional confidence to make the parade a most polished one.

A feature of the fashions was the appearance of several mink coats, valued at over £300 each.
