Mercantile Swimming
The Gisborne Swimming Club's annual mercantile swimming relay in the MacRae Baths was narrowly won in a thrill-packed final by A. L. W. Martin's B team from National Insurance and Holmes Motors B.
The event drew an entry of 54 teams.
