Wine and Cheese Party

A wine and cheese tasting party, held at Ulverstone by the Gisborne Film Society as their end-of-season function, proved to be a grand success with the 100 guests who attended it.

The first of its kind to be held in Gisborne, the party provided its guests with a wide variety of top grade wines and cheeses, served on water crackers.

In recent months, this type of party has become increasingly popular in England and the United States.
