Since its construction, Monk Bros' mobile crane has handled a variety of unusual jobs, but perhaps the most unusual would be the one pictured.....the lifting of a new carpet for the upstairs dining-room of the Masonic Hotel, which was too big and bulky to be manhandled up the stairs or carried in the lift.
