Parading Their Own Fashions

A parade of fashions was presented to a large and appreciative audience at a parents' end-of-year function in the Gisborne Intermediate School hall.

Modelling clothing they had made in sewing classes during the year, the Form II girls proved to be charming mannequins as well as competent young seamstresses.

After the parade, the girls presented their sewing mistress, Mrs P. M. Askew, with a bouquet, in appreciation of the work she had done for them during the year.
