Mr and Mrs E. G. Cooper, Karamu Street, who recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Mrs Cooper, who has been a member of the Gisborne Women's Club for 17 years, was presented with a floral spray by the president, Mrs D. Torrie, at a gathering of the club to mark the occasion.
Mrs Agnes Badham, of 390 Aberdeen Road, a resident of Gisborne for 36 years, pictured cutting her 80th birthday cake.
E.R.A./App. John Evans, son of Mr and Mrs C. C. Evans, Lyndhurst Street, recently left Gisborne to continue his naval training at Rosyth, Scotland.

Ballet Trust's Summer School in Wellington.
