Tennis Season Opens
Along with other clubs in Gisborne on a beautiful fine Saturday last month, the Mangapapa Lawn Tennis Club officially opened its season with a small ceremony and tournament at their courts in Atkinson Street.
Mora than 50 players gathered for the occasion, and witnessed Mrs Merv Jury, wife of the club captain, open the season with the first ball.
