Pouring The Roof

Using a specially constructed jib on Monk Bros. mobile crane to hoist their concrete, the contractors have completed pouring the 3in thick dome-shaped roof on the City Council's 2,000,000 gallon water reservoir on Nobhill.

The remaining task, before the job is finally completed, is the removal from inside of thousands of feet of timber which formed the scaffolding supporting the roof during its construction.
