Lytton High School Steeplechase
Boy pupils of the Lytton High School recently took part in their annual steeplechase, which was run over a rugged course involving a steep hill overlooking the city from behind the hospital farm.
Competition in the three grades was keen, resulting in some close finishes 'back at the school-grounds, where the runners were cheered on by a large crowd of girls.
With a panorama of the city behind them, intermediate runners Ian Hunter and Peter Goodwin race up to the top of the hill.
