Kaiti Women's Bowling Opening

A large gathering of women bowlers attended the Kaiti Women's Bowling Club official opening of the season at the United Services Bowling greens, in Wainui Road, last month.

At the ceremony, which was held in perfect conditions, two club members were presented with past-president badges.

The honour of bowling the first ball of the season went to Mrs Rae Watts, (above), the club's first president.
