The P.B.-B.o.P. Game

After starting the game in fiery spirit, the Poverty Bay senior rugby team slowly deteriorated, to be soundly thrashed in the second half by the visiting Bay of Plenty side at Rugby Park by 27 points to six.

Played in perfect conditions, the game was a disappointing finale to the Poverty Bay representative rugby season, being the tenth defeat suffered by the team in the 11 matches played this season.
