Health and Safety Exhibition
A three-day Health and Safety Exhibition, staged in the St. John Ambulance Hall, Girl Guide Hall, and Fire Station, all of Palmerston Road, attracted good crowds of safety-minded citizens last month.
Consisting of displays erected by health and rescue organisations, the exhibition was officially opened by the Mayor, Mr H. H. Barker.
Mr R. E. Robb, and Mr G. Smith, of the St. John Ambulance Association, explain the use of a Neil Robertson rescue stretcher to Mr Barker.
