Versatile Fashioner

A versatile fashioner, Mrs Gwen Gill, of Auckland, entertained thousands of Gisborne women in Adairs' Department Store during a recent week with her one-woman, 15-minute fashion parades.

Modelling her own designs, and compering the show herself, Mrs Gill changed garments on stage to save time.

Between parades, she demonstrated designing and dressmaking techniques.
