Student Prince Rehearsals

Rehearsals for the Gisborne Amateur Operatic Society's 1963 production of Sigmund Romberg's "The Student Prince" are now entering their final stages as the show prepares to take the floor for its opening night on Monday, October 14th.

This year, the show will run for only a seven-performance, six-day season in the Opera House.

Produced by Mrs Linda Hastings, of Hamilton, the show tells the story of Prince Karl Franz, and is set in the university town of Heidelberg and the Royal Palace at Karlsberg, during the year 1860.
