When Poverty Bay played Eest Coast for the Longley Rosebowl at Tolaga Bay, defeating them 15-13, their captain, Sally Walters, injured her leg. Despite being unable to stand, she ia in cheerful mood as her team-mate, Mrs Fryer, hands her the bowl after receiving it on behalf of the team.
