The Gisborne Returned Services Association recently opened a new charter bar in their elubrooms at the War Memorial Hall, Childers Road.

A feature of the bar is a large mural hanging on the wall depicting a comic P.O.W. scene (above), which was painted by the Gisborne artist, Mr Bill Phipps.
