Will Be Missed

The death occurred recently of Mrs Ivan Bramwell, of Score Road, who was prominently associated with the life of the community for a long period. She was recently president of the Red Cross Society here. In her younger days, as Nancye Eastwood, she achieved national prominence as a sprinter, holding the N.Z. women's 100yd record, and excelled in a number of other sports, notably swimming.
