School Visits "Frosty Jack"

When popular Adventist Central School teacher Miss Maria Mako knew she would be leaving the district, she gave the children a special treat. It was a visit to Frosty Jack's ice cream factory. We don't know whether they learned much about how ice cream is made, but we did notice an expectant silence when they came to the machine which dispenses the finished product.

After listening patiently to its function, they were suitably rewarded. Factory manager Jack Waugh was so impressed with their attentiveness that he gave them all another big cone each.
