Les Barker Cup

Over 20 runners competed for the Les Barker Cup this year on a 5.8 miles course which took them up Kaiti Hill, along Defence Road, down Nobhill and along Wainui Road back to the starting point.

There were Junior and Colts' races too, which included harriers from Wairoa. Although no records were broken, the cold conditions enabled some good times to be made.
