Hard-of-Hearing Art Display

Last month, Gisborne was the venue for the annual Conference of the Hard of Hearing League. The Gisborne Branch took the opportunity to show a hitherto unknown side of their activities, an Art exhibition by members of the art group. The pictures revealed an almost unbelievable ability and appreciation of artistic skill. The group is comprised of some half-dozen elderly lady members led and instructed by Mrs S. Mason. Some excellent pictures were displayed and the editor of the monthly journal of the League was so impressed that he chose one to feature on the front cover of the next issue.
