Correspondence School

The Education Department's Correspondence School intends to keep a strict eye on its pupils in future. They have appointed Mr H. Intemann as resident teacher. His duties will take him in all the back country areas where children are too far from school for daily travel. The school has a headmaster in Wellington. He is Mr A.W.O' Reilly who travelled from Wellington to introduce Mr Intemann to some of his pupils and their "teachers". They gathered at Central School where the children were given an Art lesson by Mr Harding while the parents met Messrs O'Reilly and Intemann
