Prime Minister's Visit

The Prime Minister, Mr K. J. Holyoake, and the Postmaster-General, Mr A. E. Kinsella, paid a brief visit to Gisborne recently.

During their stay, Mr Holyoake addressed the Rotary Club on the Importance of World Understanding Week, ands Mr Kinsella conferred with the Gisborne Chamber of Commerce on the siting of the proposed library and Post Office.
