Belles and Beaux Parade At Wainui

The highlight of the Wainui Beach School's first gala day, which was held in fine weather last month, was a competitive parade of "Belles" and "Beaux" attired in all manner of novelty dress.

In the under five years age group, the contestants modelled beach wear, and in the open class, they wore clothing of yesteryears.
