Founder's Day Observed

Boys scouts and girl guides in the Gisborne district assembled at the Botanical Gardens on a recent Sunday afternoon to attend the annual Founder's Day ceremony.

Present at the function was the Dominion Director of Training, Mr Jim Hudson, of Wellington, who was guest speaker, and who later presented awards to two scouts and a scoutmaster.
