Fishing appears to be the rage on the Coast at the moment, the highlight of which was the recent Te Araroa Fishing Contest.
These two whoppers were caught by entrants in the boat section of the contest.
The "Thalidomide Babies" of Tauwhareparae Station.....two lambs born without ears
A competitor with his catch for the day, caught off "The Iron Peg" at Hick's Bay.
Fishermen lining the rocky foreshore at "The Iron Peg".
