New Wairoa Tenuis Pavilion Opened

To conclude the eventful day in Wairoa last month, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr F. L. A. Gotz, officially opened the Wairoa Tennis Club's new pavilion at its courts in lower Marina Parade.

Following the ceremony, Mrs Gotz gracefully accepted an invitation to open the club's season by hitting the first ball across the net.
