Wairoa Yacht Club Pavilion Opened

Following his observation of the Wairoa civil defense organisation's exercise (see elsewhere), the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr F. L. A. Gotz, officially opened the Yacht Club's new pavilion, which is pleasantly situated on the banks of the Wairoa River.

After the ceremony, several races were held, with visiting yachtsmen from Gisborne taking part.
