Our Cover

Jenny Fromow, attractive singing star of "New Moon", the Gisborne Operatic Society's 1962 presentation, is featured on our front cover. "New Moon" is currently delighting large audiences at the Opera House. Jenny, who is a 21-year-old teacher at Intermediate School, comes from Opotiki.

Back Cover. Bob Hepburn sent us this unusual picture of a "Joey" out Tiniroto way, trapped atop a burning stump. He was eventually persuaded to "hot-foot" it to the ground.
