Indoor Basketball

First-class indoor basketball was to be seen in the Y.M.C.A. stadium on a recent Saturday when a tournament was held between Gisborne and Whakatane.

Fielding three powerful teams, the visitors claimed victories in both the men's A grade and B grade games, but suffered a loss in the ladies' section.
