The senior, junior, and primary groups of the Waihirere Maori Club, which won all their sections at the Koroki Coronation Hui (the annual national Maori cultural competitions) held at Ngaruawahia recently. In so doing, the party claimed two records - the first, by being the only club ever to win three sections in one year, and the second, by the senior group, by winning their section for three consecutive years.

A perspective drawing, as seen from Gladstone Road, of the proposed Government Life Insurance building which is to be constructed opposite the almost completed T and G building on the Grey Street corner. An impressive five-storey structure, it is hoped to be completed late in the year of 1964.
