Safety Stretcher Demonstrated

A Neil Robertson safety stretcher, two of which are now stationed at the St. John Ambulance Hall, Palmerston Road, was demonstrated at the rear of the Fire Station recently, when a "patient", Mr Tom Harvey, was lowered safely from the fire tower (above) to the ground (below).

The stretcher is for use in restricted areas such as mines, buildings, and cliffs.
