The Heni Materoa Children's Home benefited from a well-attended mannequin parade at the Ritz Cabaret recently, sponsored by Mrs Knights, of Phyllis Lee lingerie salon, and Mrs Gall, of Fifth Avenue Gowns.
Three of the mannequins are shown above on the stage. They are, from left, Mrs Joan Coates (black and white race frock). Miss Ann Kerr, (grey and white cocktail frock), and Miss Yvonne Emms (blue and white cocktail frock). Those associated with the organisation of the parade were thanked by Mrs J. B. Mannequins of a different type were these "Models" at a Fireside Club cabaret. They were the winners of a "Take the Bag" charade and raised their share of laughs. Faces are blanked out to spare the blushes, or maybe they are Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell incognito.
